Return & Refund Policy

At Prudent Preservations, we handcraft each batch of soap with love, care, and the highest quality ingredients. Because our products are personal care items, we must prioritize health and safety.

Our Policy: All Sales Are Final

Due to the hygienic and personal nature of handmade soap, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds if you simply change your mind, dislike a scent, or find that a bar looks slightly different than pictured.

Once a product leaves our studio, we can no longer guarantee its sanitary integrity, meaning we can never resell it or take it back.

A Note on Handcrafted Variations: Because our soaps are poured and cut by hand in small batches, slight variations in color, pattern, shape, and weight are completely normal and are part of the charm of handmade soap!

What If We Made a Mistake?

While we strive for perfection, we are human! If we made an error, we want to make it right immediately. We will gladly issue a replacement or a refund (including any applicable shipping costs) if:

  • We sent you the wrong item.

  • Your order arrived damaged during transit.

  • An item is missing from your package.

How to Report an Issue:

If your order arrived damaged or incorrect, please follow these steps within 72 hours of delivery:

  1. Take a photo of the damaged or incorrect product, as well as the shipping box/packaging.

  2. Email us at info@prudentpreservations.com with your Order Number and the photo attachments.

  3. Let us know if you would prefer a free replacement shipped to you or a refund for the affected item.

Once we verify the issue, we will process your replacement or refund.

Skin Sensitivities & Allergies

We always recommend doing a patch test on a small area of skin before full use. Because everyone's skin chemistry is unique, we cannot offer refunds or returns due to individual skin sensitivities, scent preferences, or allergic reactions.
